The weight of any of Fiberbuilt's golf mats depends on the size, but most of our mats are quite heavy because of the rubber base that they are built on and the desire to make sure the mats are stable. For this reason, it is not practical to try to regularly move a fully assembled mat around, from outside to inside, etc. With that said, because the rubber base systems are modular, you can quickly break them apart and move the components as necessary. It is a bit of a process, but this is one option. Another option to consider is that we have a whole series of Stowable Mats that are made to be mobile and can quickly be broken down and moved or stored, giving you the most flexibility while still delivering superior Fiberbuilt technology. You can contact our Customer Service department for guidance on the best mats for your needs.
Thanks for your question, the answer is that it depends on what you are looking for. A Fiberbuilt Grass series mat will be more forgiving on your excessive club face rotation and is a great option if you do not want any "turf shock" on impact while you are working on your swing. On the other hand a Performance Turf Series mat will provide excellent shock absorption but not as much as our Fiberbuilt grass series.
